Good news for retro comic book fans!
The Adventures of Jodelle are now re edited by Fantagraphics
(+ never seen before bonus content).

This is a 1966 French erotic comic by Guy Peellaert and Pierre Bartier. Many of the characters looks were taken from public pop figures of the past and present. Jodelle herself looks like French singer Sylvie Vartan, stereotyped as the girl next door fiancée, while other characters are look-alikes of The Beatles, James Bond, Marquis de Sade, among others. In a futuristic Pop version of Imperial Rome, neon ads promote "stripteases and Christian slaughters." Comic book associated to women's liberation and sexual freedom in the 60's.

More Pop than ever! I want it now!
